The DS Merchandise Separator solution combines two TFT displays on the merchandise separator with the convenient content management solution "DS Channel" from the IAdea Germany Cloud. The system is operated by a powerful, battery-powered mini-computer. The use and handling of the merchandise separators does not change - only the changing of the advertising media is omitted.

The battery-operated article separators are automatically placed on the checkout belt by the customer. This is where the first direct interaction with the DS merchandise separator takes place, attention is gained. During the waiting process, customers are presented with interesting headlines, weather data and sports results, for example, accompanied by advertising messages depending on the time of day.

The checkout staff places the article divider back on the rail. There, the battery of the article divider is charged. During the charging process, the digital displays are facing the customer. This state can still be used for advertising or informing. Surrounding goods can also be detected as an option, which can be displayed directly in a comple­mentary manner.
