Remote maintenance optimized for digital signage

IAdea Deutschland GmbH introduces intelligent device and management service

Schwentinental, Germany, Feb. 12, 2018 - At ISE 2018, IAdea, market leader in media players, smart signboards and video wall technology for digital signage, announced the launch of "IAdeaCare." "IAdeaCare is an intelligent device and management service that ensures 24/7 operation of digital signage solutions. To do this, the remote service combines and correlates the wealth of real-time tracking information and monitoring data to proactively predict and prioritize potential failures and respond remotely accordingly.

IAdeaCare allows for firmware updates, configuration management and troubleshooting remotely. This enables technicians and administrators in the IT or audio-visual (AV) teams of enterprises, integrators or system houses to ensure uninterrupted operation of digital signage solutions around the globe through predictive analytics.

Currently, IAdeaCare is still in beta phase and is being thoroughly tested within the IAdea partner network. The official launch is scheduled for the second quarter of this year. Similarly, IAdea plans to release an application programming interface (API) for integration with major content management solutions in the same quarter.

Worry-free: Based on real-time access, IAdeaCare can access the currently updated content of a wide variety of displays at any time and from anywhere, monitor what is "happening" and intervene remotely if the worst comes to the worst. For any digital signage device registered with IAdeaCare, warranty information is also displayed alongside device configuration details without the need to access or submit a ticket on a website.

Device Intelligence: IAdeaCare captures screenshots remotely and collects data from activity on registered devices. This enables IAdeaCare to prevent device failures through data-driven predictive maintenance.
