The real north at the new CeBIT 2018
(Kiel, 07.06.2018) Following its successful appearances in previous years, Schleswig-Holstein's IT industry will once again be represented at CEBIT in Hannover in 2018. From June 12 to 15, a total of nine companies and institutions from the true north will present themselves to an international audience at the Schleswig-Holstein joint stand H17 in Hall 17. The joint appearance is being organized by Wirtschaftsförderung und Technologietransfer Schleswig-Holstein GmbH (WTSH).
"The IT and media landscape in Schleswig-Holstein is very dynamic and still growing," says WTSH trade fair consultant Maike Schwarz. "With our joint stand, we want to depict the extensive range of services and diverse competencies that the true north has to offer in this area." Around 15,000 companies in Schleswig-Holstein are attributed to the medium-sized sector. The focus is on information technology, software development, e-commerce and the media-related sector. At the joint stand at the new CEBIT, exhibitors range from hardware and software developers to IT and IP service providers to e-commerce and digital signage specialists.
With Kiel-based LaserSoft Imaging AG, Flensburg-based MAC IT-Solutions GmbH and Kiel Region, among others, two premium partners and one partner of the WTSH partner program "Schleswig-Holstein. The Real North" are represented. In this cross-industry network, more than 300 companies and institutions are now active as ambassadors and supporters of Schleswig-Holstein as a place to do business, work and live.
With a revised concept, the new CEBIT is staging itself this year as Europe's business festival for innovation and digitization. The triad of trade show, conference and networking event will give exhibitors and visitors a 360-degree view of the digitization of companies, administration and society.
