The hardware operates without a fan, and a hardened chassis and double-hardened display provide optimal protection for public use. System memory uses 4 GB of dedicated, vibration-resistant solid-state memory for 24/7 uninterrupted operation.

Timed hardware monitoring also ensures, in the event of rare failure events such as lightning etc., automatic recovery without human intervention.
